The throughout the time which then inspired many people

The good government should be inspired by one of the enlightenment philosophers which is John Locke. Many of the countries in Europe and the Americas used his ideas in the Declarations and Constitutions. John Locke believed that “people are born with natural rights, including life, liberty, property” (World History Notes). This Locke’s idea was the most important throughout the time which then inspired many people in the world to use this idea which then led to the revolutions. The idea about natural rights was not the only one that John Locke argued about. He also believed that “government power came from the consent of the governed” (World History Notes). This Locke’s idea was used in the Declaration of the Rights of Man, “Just rule comes only from nation” (Article 3, Declaration of the Rights of Man). John Locke’s ideas are the most important because if the government wants to have good and organized country with people that agree, Locke’s ideas might help to give people their natural rights.    Another enlightenment philosopher that might inspire good government is Baron de Montesquieu. He believed “in separation of powers, divide power among three branches of government” (World History Notes). Montesquieu’s idea was used in the Declaration of the Rights of Man, “A society in which the observance of the law is not assured, nor the separation of powers defined, has no constitution at all” (Article 16, Declaration of the Rights of Man). Also United States of America practices this idea in their government. Montesquieu’s idea about separated power between three branches in the government would work good because there is going to be less corruption and branches will limit the power and control other branches. Corruption is the one of the things that people complaining about in the countries even today because they are paying taxes and want government to use the money in the rights direction not just taking them in the pockets. Good government should use Baron de Montesquieu’s ideas to make the country strong and incorruptible.    The third enlightenment philosopher that would inspire the good government is Voltaire. He argued “for the rights of freedom of speech and religion” (World History notes). His ideas are used in many countries. For example the Declaration of the Rights of Man used this idea as the one of their articles, “The free communication of ideas and opinions is the one of the most precious of the rights of man” (Article 11, Declaration of the Rights of Man). Voltaire ideas are important to people because by that they can say their opinions and ideas about anything they want. Also people can follow any religion they would like, and the government would not limit it to them. Religious tolerance and freedom of speech are really important to people in the country because that would give them freedom to those things, and government or anyone else would not be able to limit it for them.
