Education ways of learning, participation is always be considered.

Education means imparting knowledge to a person. The development of technologies provides for more and more ways to learn. But the traditional education and online learning seem to be more prominent and beneficial. Students may face these four problems when choosing between traditional learning and its online counterpart: flexible scheduling, participation, social interaction, and self-motivation.The key component that every student will consider when weighing the options is time management. Are you willing to attend full-time classes or do you need more flexibility with your timetable? Generally speaking, for those who intend to work while in school, distance learning will provide the flexibility to fit into their busy schedule. Especially, this kind of learning works best for some people already have other commitments like family and work. Online classes and materials are always available for students whenever they have time to study instead of sticking to the specific time schedule at school. This makes distance-learning method more attentive to students. In contrast, the traditional way of learning is more suitable for students who are able to attend lectures at school. Students will have to plan their time after school wisely to do projects, home-works and so on. Additionally, a long-time travel can be one of the big obstacles makes scheduling more difficult. When facing the options choosing between two ways of learning, participation is always be considered. Both of these two methods assess student participation. Online classes participation is mandatory and will be count by written type. Usually, online courses follow a weekly learning format. Students are required to log in, read course materials, contribute to a discussion board and complete assignments before due dates. However, discussing online will be a chance to hear a wide range of perspective from every student, which can be undone in traditional classes. Moreover, the voluntarily participate in lectures makes some people who are shy or unwilling to talk will not have a chance to speak their minds. The other next big thing when weighing the learning options is social interaction you are hoping to have with your colleagues and professors. On this side, online courses seem to be inferior to traditional classes. Social interaction through distance learning classes still happen but the significant difference is in the form it takes. However, it can be hard for students to directly discuss and solve problems with their instructors through the online board. Despite the technological developments, traditional learning would be the best offers to students to earn supports from their professors and colleagues through face-to-face communication. Traditionally, seeing and discussing with classmates on a daily basis can be more interesting than the other way, as students can gain grow a strong friendship with each other. Also, in traditional lectures may offer the opportunity for students to asking questions right away when we have difficulties with understanding concepts.Last but not least, the final area that students need to consider before step foot – or log into – the classroom is discipline and self-motivation. Both of two methods need its own ways to lead students to success. Choosing online courses means students must be highly self-motivated to stay on track for required assignment and projects. It can be distracting due to the increasing flexibility it offers when studying comfortably at home. Meanwhile, traditional education does have advantages when it comes to discipline and motivation. The structured time-spending in class and face-to-face interaction can help the instructors to keep their students up on tasks by reminding upcoming assignments. In total, both traditional and online education has its own pros and cons. So the best solution to integrate two methods called “blended learning”. In this new method, instructors can require meet up once a week for lectures while assigning students to work on projects and completing on their own time. It could be more self-motivated, more social interaction, and discipline yet flexibility enough for every student. Personally, I believe traditional learning is a better and easier option due to the motivation, discipline and social communication it offers. However, there is no rights or wrongs in choosing the way to achieve success in education. It is based on personal preference and situation. Always knowing that you have support from your instructors and your peers will keep you on the success path.
