Brief can spread fake news. My opinion on this

Brief summary of the article:

Facebook
newsfeed will be selective with the posts of friends and family  rather than news posted by other brands or pages
and it also focus on news that is been posted by trusted origin. As they are
not sure about the origins which can be trusted, so Facebook decided to ask help
from its users about the sources which they trust in the form of a survey. As we know Facebook is mostly used social
media the spreading of genuine and fake news is rapid. This survey is not to expose
or punish the organization who posts fake news but to filter the news feed
according to the user interests and from trusted sources. Mark main aim is to
improve news feed with trusted content and the time spent on Facebook should be
meaningful.

A clear explanation of the ethical,
legal, or social issue this article addresses:

The main issue which is asked by many people
is how can you find the organizations which are trust worthy and which are not.
And Facebook rely on user polls to the post which is posted on company blog. Social
media is the main source to spread information, so any news posted will be a
sensation as it reaches vast number of people rapidly. Zack thinks it is better
to prevent rather than solving them after reaching audience. A propaganda
machine during US election have attracted people to click on, like and share to
share stories and clickbait headlines to check how fast Facebook users can
spread fake news.

My opinion on this issue based on this
article:

Mark
is trying to improve the news feed and prioritize the posts that are to be
shown on our page and this is interesting because Facebook newsfeed will be
filled with information which is relevant to the user rather than which they
are not interested in. Thus, Facebook want its users to access validated
information than false and malicious contents. This will not reduce the
information which we see on our news feed but will balance news from trusted
sources.
